Quality Counts: A Note from The President of The Fence Authority

Here at The Fence Authority, we’ve been very busy helping property owners with fence repairs in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
I want to take a moment and weigh in on fence quality.  We’ve been one of the nation's premier fence companies since 1996.  We are extremely selective about the products we provide to our customers.  We invest a great deal of time sourcing our products from the best producers in the fencing industry. We also maintain our own team of certified installation experts and we never subcontract our work.
To put it simply, The Fence Authority adheres to stringent quality standards, and we aren’t willing to compromise on quality to slash our prices.  If you are looking to go cheap, you can always find a lower price, but you can rest assured you are not getting the quality we are offering.  We’ve seen it all too often recently: property owners who bought based solely on price and they received substandard products from a contractor that may not be returning their calls for service or repairs.  These property owners are now paying the price for choosing their fence based on price only.  The cheaper fencing just doesn’t hold up as well over time, particularly when exposed to harsh weather conditions such as those we’ve seen recently.  And that substandard installer?  Often they go out of business, leaving property owners in the dark when it comes to knowing which brand of fence was used and where to find a solution.  Suddenly, that fence repair job has just become a fence replacement. In some cases the manufacturer of the products are no longer in business as well.
Don’t let this happen to you. Please, consider quality first when you are purchasing a fence for your property.  For the quality we offer, whether it is a cedar fence from our wood shop or an ActiveYards vinyl or aluminum fence, you won’t find better prices on fence materials or fence installations.
When you choose The Fence Authority your fence is backed by almost two decades of quality and experience. When you choose ActiveYards your fence is backed by the largest fence manufacturer in the world.

Wintertime Fence Installation: 3 Surprising Benefits

Some fence companies seem to fly south for the winter, but here at The Fence Authority, we’re working year-round to provide quality fence products and installation to our customers.

We have the specialized equipment needed to accommodate winter weather conditions for fence installation.  Plus, we provide a wide selection of DIY fence products, complete with all the tools you need to get the job done right, any time of year!

Thinking of having a fence installed?  Here are three benefits to getting your fence in the winter months.

1.  Cost Savings:  Some of our best prices of the year are offered during the offseason!  Take advantage of end-of-season savings on many of our quality fence products when you shop in the winter.

2.  More Flexibility:  Most homeowners only think about their fencing needs during the spring and summer months.  For this reason, we often have more flexibility in our wintertime installation schedule, and can provide you with faster installation service.

3.  Get Ahead of the Game: Homeowners who get fence installation taken care of in the off season are ahead of the game when the spring rush arrives.  While your neighbors are buys scheduling their fence installation projects, you can spend time relaxing and enjoying the finished product.
